Montrae Mining's Lock Washer was designed to eliminate welding of the cross over sub to the piston of the Shock-Cusion Sub because this caused damage to chrome on the piston. Our first lock washer was placed on a 36000 Shock-Cusion Sub and was put into service with very good results. But we needed to make is so no sealant was needed to seal the cross over.

Montrae Mining designed an air adaptor to fit between the two subs which worked well and eliminated the need for sealant. The results have been terrific with no leakage and easy removal for replacement. Montrae Mining is now testing a Lock Ring on which couples the bull shaft to the Shock-Cusion Sub, it is running perfect. This eliminates all welding, gluing and heat on the Drill Rig.
